"Stunning barn conversion, only newly completed, sitting close to the coast at Alnmouth and views over the Estuary. The name 'The Shippon' relates to the former cart shed which has been remodelled and extended to provide quality accommodation. The main aspect of the property is to the south and west with wrap around decking affording the views over Alnmouth. The spacious plot is accessed through The Steadings development and opens to a generous parking area with gravelled rear garden and lawned front garden plus garage. Internally the exposed beams and high ceilings of the original building are complemented by American oak internal doors and high specification interior. There is excellent natural light with west facing French doors, plus extras windows and skylights, and the property enjoys mains gas central heating with unusual inset radiators and underfloor heating in the bathrooms. The property is less than ½ mile from the main east coast railway station which has direct links north to Edinburgh and south to Newcastle and London, whilst the main A1 road and A1068 road give access north and south of the county.
