"An attractive detached stone farmhouse situated in the heart of the village with character accommodation arranged on three floors and surrounded by delightful gardens and grounds of 0.47 of an acre, including a private driveway. Internally the property offers a wealth of period features including window seats, exposed beams and stone work. On the ground floor the sitting room features a large fireplace with a wood burning stove and the well-proportioned kitchen offers a range of base and eye-level cream units and wooden work surfaces. Fitted appliances include a dishwasher, an integrated oven, 4 ring hob with extractor above and there is space for a table and chairs. In addition there is also a snug/study with Rayburn.   The first floor is accessed via two staircases one of which leads to a guest bedroom and en-suite bathroom from the kitchen and the other from the hallway/study providing access to two further bedrooms on the first floor. There is also a family bathroom featuring a raised standalone bath and shower. A further staircase leads to the second landing with two additional bedrooms and a shower room.

Helmdon lies on the South Northamptonshire/Oxfordshire borders to the north of Brackley and is a ribbon village, divided by the infant River Tove. Amenities in the village include a public house, a top ten primary school (based upon 2015 SATS results for state primary school in England) and pre-school. The village has several social clubs as well as popular annual events.
