Located towards the east of Diss, the property is extremely well positioned in a small close, enjoying a prominent position, being within easy walking distance of Diss town centre and railway station, (with regular services connecting to London Liverpool Street and Norwich). The historic market town of Diss has proved to be a popular location over the years, lying in the South Norfolk borders and offering an excellent range of day to day amenities and facilities.
The property itself was built in the early 1980's of traditional brick and block cavity wall construction under an interlocking tiled roof by National Builders. Over the years the property has been well maintained with the installation of upvc double glazed windows, doors and bargeboards. The accommodation is well laid out with good practical sized rooms, all flooded by plenty of natural light. Currently the accommodation consists of two bedrooms, bathroom/shower room, large reception room with bay window and a kitchen/diner benefiting from being positioned at the rear of the property with sliding doors opening onto the rear patio area and gardens beyond.
Externally the property has the benefit of plenty of off road parking (for at least three cars back to back) leading up to the single attached garage. From this point there is side gate access to the rear gardens also. The main gardens lie to the rear of the property being predominately laid to lawn and partly enclosed by brick walling making an attractive feature. The gardens are well established and offer a great deal of variety within including herbaceous plants, small shrubs and climbing plants, giving plenty of colour and charm during the summer months. It should be noted that the gardens do extend beyond the brick walling, and subject to the necessary consents perhaps an oncoming purchaser can move the brick walling back in line with the boundaries of the plot itself to increase the garden size. For further information on this, please do contact the selling agent.
