"Longford Church dates back to 1804 having been built over a five year period by Ralph Leeke who travelled back from India with his riches and took residence in the neighbouring Longford Hall. He undertook the restoration and redesign of the Hall using the services of an Italian architect and was in need of a place of worship for his employees. Therefore a former church which had stood on the present site was dismantled and the original sandstone blocks were used to build St Mary's Church. The church continued to be used for its intended purposes through the 1800's right the way up to the 1970's when it was under the ownership of the Adams Grammar School. The property was then sold off and soon became derelict falling foul of neglect and vandalism before being taken under the wing of its present keeper who has lovingly restored and converted it into a fine home. Internal Inspection essential to fully appreciate the ambience of this unique property.

Delightfully situated on the outskirts of Newport, this impressive home offers spacious open plan living accommodation comprising vestibule entrance hall, living area and dining area. Kitchen with walk in larder/store, study/bedroom 4 and ground floor shower room.

Upstairs accessed from the galleried landing which overlooks the lving space, are 3 bedrooms, 2 en-suites and a family bathroom.

Outside there are beautifully landsacaped gardens to all sides which are enclosed by mature hedging with a long tree lined driveway and electrically operated gates.
