"DETACHED HOUSE IN SOUGHT AFTER LOCATION WITHIN A MILE OF ABERGAVENNY TOWN. An attractive detached house believed to have been built in the 1950's by J G Thomas and sons, one of Abergavenny's respected house builders of the early 19th century. The house was built to a high specification as it was, at the time, occupied by one of the Thomas' family. The handsome brick exterior was built with handmade Forest of Dean Clay bricks and inside, American Oak floor boards were used. The house is set back from the road and entered by double wooden gates which lead to the private driveway, garage and parking area. To the front of the house is an extensive lawned garden with one of the best central views of the Blorenge Mountain and to the rear, a private courtyard. Valid planning consent is in place for a two storey extension to the rear."
