"Apart from all the fantastic space you'd expect of a late Victorian home (plenty and nicely proportioned over two floors only), there are a number of little touches - features if you will, of the very original to this five double bedroomed house.....

Impressive for all sorts Here, for example there's a wonderful Victorian entrance with a Milton tiled floor, high ceiling and a particularly pretty stained glass and leaded door - a deep side window opposite allows for plenty of light. Walk then through into a charming hall, with a lovely rich floor covering; a hall with more light cascading from half landing window and an area with an especially ornate arch and and overhead door cornice. A walk in cloaks which houses the impressive free standing Worcester combi boiler and a large cloakroom is also off the hall. (The cloakroom is as a big as some bathrooms!) Fine dining A large and elegant front traditional dining room has a bay (in pvc) and marble fireplace whilst the similarly generously sized front living room has two deep pvc windows, here there's another marble fireplace with wall lights either side. More places to entertain To the rear of the house and also with fireplace and double opening pvc french doors to the garden is the Day Room. Across the rear hall and passed a solid white pvc part glazed 'farmhouse' styled door that also opens to the garden is the large and welcoming family kitchen breakfast room. Hub of the home Here there's good lighting, a good range of units and packs of work surfaces; again easy to maintain with a tiled floor and splash backs. This is a nice bright family kitchen we'd all like to congregate in. Once more there's access to the garden and in particular to a huge, deck - an area accessed from all three points mentioned - fab' for entertaining and outdoor summer living. More room to spread Upstairs and there are five bedrooms; more importantly five double bedrooms. Three particularly large rooms, replicate the living rooms at ground floor - three to the front and two to the rear and with the bathroom and one bedroom accessed under another arch. A really nice surprise The bathroom is also luxurious for its size - more than big enough for a shower cubicle and loo one side and a wide basin set into a white vanity unit and a claw foot re enamelled free standing bath to the other - still leaving plenty of room below the two etched windows for a piece of furniture or two. The bathroom is tiled throughout and luxurious for its size alone. Outside Outdoors and you'll see an impressive pressed concrete drive, impressive for its finish; a finish and style that compliments the period of the house. The lawns and wider car access were added just this year. This runs up to the garage where a gate separates front from rear and a path takes you onto the garden and to an area of lawn for the kids and to this extensive and for that rather extravagant piece of relaxing decked space - especially when bearing in mind how the garden faces south east and as such attracts sun all day. and finally ...and on your way out take a look up above the front of the house and notice the last interesting piece of detail in the stucco above the bedroom window. In fact there are a few 'extra' photos on the slide show. Locator For Sat Nav: CH43 1TB. St Andrews is a relatively quiet residential road just 'around the corner' from St Anselms and just a little further Redcourt and Birkenhead School Academy. It's also an easy run to the Tunnel for the city just a few minutes in the car.
