"This beautifully restored, large family home is ideally situated on the edge of Oxton Village. With many of the original features, including numerous fireplaces and immaculate plaster cornices, it would make an ideal home for a large family and still have space for a home office. The basement wine cellar is a very useful addition.

Locals know Rose Mount to be one of the premier addresses in Oxton Village and this property is a period gem; a modern home with many of the Victorian attributes lovingly restored to their original condition. For buyers relocating to Wirral, this home is 2 minutes’ walk from the village centre where you can find a range of artisan shops, restaurants and wine bars. It is in a quiet location but within easy reach of the M53 motorway, and road and rail links to Liverpool.

A large, 4 storey (including basement) semi-detached property set back from the road behind a sandstone wall and mature gardens to the front. The impressive entrance door is accessed via sandstone steps, leading to:

Another very large lounge overlooking the front gardens with similar features to the first, restored to an immaculate condition.  It would make an impressive formal living room or additional living space for a large family.

Utility room  2.43m x 4.13m

Split level, there is plenty of space for washer, drier and additional fridge and freezer.  Complete with granite work tops and a Belfast sink, it is a very useful space to keep the kitchen free of day to day clutter.

Kitchen 4.62m x 4.24m

With range cooker and a mixture of base and wall units the large kitchen has plenty of space for a dining table and chairs.  Patio doors lead out to the beautiful rear garden.

A slightly smaller double bedroom, but still very large by modern standards.

A very large room with 2 windows and great potential for a variety of uses.

Basement room 2: 4.55m x 4.46m

Basement room 3: 4.57m x 1.99m

 Outside.

There is a driveway at the front of the property, surfaced in cobblestone imprinted concrete with sufficient space for 3 cars.  The front garden is set behind a sandstone wall with lawns, flowerbeds and mature shrubs and trees.  All the gardens are immaculately maintained and are a beautiful setting for the main house.

A timber gate set in a sandstone wall leads to the rear garden.

The back of the house is mainly set to lawn, on a raised level with a smallstone retaining wall and within a classic castellated sandstone perimeterwall to form a beautiful setting in which to relax and enjoy the contents of the wine cellar.
