"A most interesting early Victorian detached cottage in a pleasant cul-de-sac setting

This double fronted detached cottage type property is believed to date from around 1825 and is thought to be the original gardeners cottage to Claughton Manor (which has long since been demolished). Sandy Way is a pleasant cul-de-sac and the property backs on to Birkenhead High School for Girls playing fields. In more recent years the property has been much extended, the accommodation now comprises two separate living rooms along with a good fitted kitchen with a conservatory off. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a lovely large bathroom. UPVC double glazing is installed and there is a gas fired central heating with a combination boiler.
