"Stylish, spacious and refurbished to a considerably exacting degree - in other words not just a standard heavy handed refurbishment but one with an appreciable amount of care and passion for the right finish....

Standards A standard of finish which has succeeded, in our view anyway, to create a house that already feels like a home and one which is clearly ready to move into with no onward chain and with no fuss. First things first Straight away we'd like to point out the following: the house has been rewired. There is brand new gas cenrtal heating system. A new alarm has been fitted along with security lighting to the front and rear of the house. The garage roof has been refurbished. There are new carpets and floor coverings throughout the house. Much more has been added too, as you will see. Definition We use the often over used word 'spacious' wisely for it is definitely in our mind a bigger- than-it-looks semi and on a wider plot certainly than for many around. Parking and playing Take the drive for example - not just a long drive but a wider drive than most and at the bottom of which is a large detached garage. The garden is a really nice size with a mix of lawn and new decking. However it's the room sizes that hopefully will impress. From a nice bright, wide hall there's the front living room, with a rather attractive original working fireplace and deep square bay window to arguably the best room in the house. Indoor and out ..and that's the kitchen and open plan dining room. Fantastic space, made better by the new double opening pvc doors which open straight onto this newly decked patio - so the space, as it were, multiplies during the warmer weather. Good for entertaining ...and the kitchen is not just a nice kitchen to look at, it's also very serviceable, well planned and, we expect, an enjoyable area to prepare meals in - especially if you've someone to converse with in the dining area. The fact that the noisy stuff, washing machine (and space for tumble dryer) is well out of the way in the refurbished outhouse, makes it that more 'user friendly'....and yes, the island unit whilst not a fixed unit, will be staying. Best of all? They say kitchen and bathrooms sell homes - and fair to say you'd be hard to please if this bathroom didn't provoke a hint of approval - once again a large room, bright, comfortable and well done. First floor The three bedrooms are smartly presented in neutral colours and you can see from the floor plan how bigger than the norm they are. There's a pretty fireplace in the main bedroom and the third bedroom beats any standard third 'box room' by miles for space. Outdoors Back to outside and you can see there are two pairs of wrought iron gates. With the space the drive provides it's good to know there's the security too for when the children play out. Locator Wharfedale runs parallel to Storeton Road which is as convenient as you can get to most things. Wharfedale itself is a road that really doesn't attract much traffic and at one end there's a handy 'corner' shop and at the other, Prenton United Reform Church. Come and take a look.
