"This is a spacious, five bedroom detached property built approximately thirty years ago of stone elevations and slate, which requires underpinning to correct settlement problems caused by foundation defects. A structural engineers report together with approximate costings is (available) and the outer leaf to its front and side elevatation will require partial reconstruction to correct residual cracking. Notwithstanding these problems the property offers tremendous potential for improvement, particularly in view of its position at Grains Bar with extensive views across Oldham, Manchester and the Cheshire Plain with even views of North Wales on a clear day. There are large gardens to both front and rear and a driveway can be formed through the front garden area and lead to parking or garage space to the east (right as viewed from the front) side of the property, subject to the usual approvals being obtained.
