"Purpose built two bedroom retirement bungalow in Bare! Modern rooms, breakfast kitchen, patio doors from the lounge and naturally double glazing and gas central heating. There's a three piece bathroom suite, private patio and well tended gardens. All this and NO CHAIN!

LOCATION Monkswood Avenue is situated in the highly sought after Bare area. It is a cul de sac, purpose built (circa 1988) retirement complex which is managed on the residents behalf by Anchor Housing and residents must be over 55 years. There is an estate manager on hand who can deal with any issues day to day and who is in charge of on site maintenance.
Situated within the Bare area demand can be high for these modern bungalows. Bare Village has a good variety of local shops and amenities on hand. You can enjoy sea side walks along the promenade and see Morecambe's famous sun sets across the Bay. Not too far away there is Happy Mount Park which is a public park and is a great place for families to visit in the summer months (if you need to entertain grand children!) and there is also a cafe there for you to sit and relax whilst the kids play.
