"If you are looking for a new to you family home that has retained many of its original features yet enjoys the conveniences of modern day living then this property may have your name on it! Also check out the energy efficiency measures sympathetically installed as well as solar panels to the roof.

This is a very well laid out traditional home and enjoys gardens to both the front and rear of the property. It has the added advantage of solar power units, so less to pay on those bills, and it also has cavity wall insulation and recently upgraded loft insulation - a very eco-friendly home indeed! The current owners have also upgraded the glazing to double glazed units throughout most of the property, and have sympathetically retained the original stained glass windows, preserving the original art deco feeling of the house. The front and back doors are both original, and as such have proved difficult to double glaze the smaller glass windows, hence we have indicated that double glazing is not throughout the home. Many other original features have been maintained; in both double bedrooms there are still the original fireplaces, and the staircase, panelling and architraves are still oozing that retro feeling, as you will see from the photos. The current owners have also enhanced the property with the addition of a very stylish conservatory/orangery, completely double glazed and with leaded lights to maintain consistency throughout the home.

This is an ideal family home as it is very close to both Heyhouses and Mayfield Primary Schools. A little farther afield is Lytham St Annes High School. Local amenities such as doctor and dentist are both within walking distance, and the centre of St Annes on Sea and all of it's shops and businesses is approximately 10 minutes walk. So as you see, it is very well placed.

The orangery is more of an addition to the living room as opposed to how many conservatories err towards being a separate room that is too cold to use in winter and too warm in summer. It comes complete with fully fitted blinds for summer comfort.

  • Bedroom 3

    2.1m x 2.34m

    (4.9 sqm) - 6' 10" x 7' 8" (52 sqft)

The smallest bedroom has a front aspect and is a little larger than many 'box rooms', giving enough room for a single bed, or even bunk beds without it feeling too small.

  • Bathroom

    2.1m x 2.59m

    (5.4 sqm) - 6' 10" x 8' 5" (58 sqft)

This is a generously sized bathroom containing a bath, toilet, sink and separate shower cubicle, yet still maintains a sense of space.

  • Landing

The upstairs landing still retains many of the original features such as ornate architraves that have been stripped down to the wood for full architectural effect, the panelling at the tops of the stairs and a fabulous long window in stained glass that has been fitted into a double glazed unit - beauty and efficiency, what more can you ask for!?
