"HOW DOES A DETACHED BUNGALOW IN A VILLAGE WHICH BACKS ONTO A MARINA SOUND??? We think this home has the potential to be fantastic as the cul de sac location is appealing, the rooms are a good size, the rear garden is extremely extensive and the uninterrupted views are superb. There is even No Chain! Check out the full details to find out more and then why not book a viewing?

ABOUT THE AREA Glasson Dock is a small village just south of the City of Lancaster and can be found at the end of the River Lune Estuary with Wyresdale Crescent being a quiet cul de sac. Glasson Dock itself was opened in 1787 as a new development in order to help larger vessels along the River Lune to the Quay in Lancaster from as far as the West Indies and the Baltic. The village offers a cafe, two public houses and a local convenience store offering a wide variety of items. The canal basin is a popular marina and the area is also very popular for bird watching and wildlife. A BRIEF DESCRIPTION The front of the home opens into a vestibule and a rather generous hallway which has access into all the rooms available. Both double bedrooms are to the front of the home and the master offers built in wardrobes. The living room is a good size and has a fantastic picture window which looks out over the extensive rear garden and the Mariner at the foot of the garden. You will also find inside a dining room, kitchen and a three piece bathroom suite. The outside has a small garden to the front with parking leading to a garage and the rear is a truly great size. The property has been double glazed, has electric heating and is available for sale with No Chain. THE ENTRANCE The main entrance at the front of the home opens into a vestibule which is an ideal place to store your coats and take off your shoes before stepping into the main hallway. Buyers will see that the hall is a rather generous size and there is a built in storage cupboard which will always come in handy. This area also offers doors which will open into the majority of the rooms available. A ROOM WITH A VIEW Anybody who views this home will instantly take a liking to this room as the view is rather special. The picture window not only enjoys an outlook onto the large rear garden but it also offers an uninterrupted view towards the Mariner. The lounge offers enough space for the expected furniture we all require and there is an electric fire to the centre of the room. From here there is an open space which leads through to the dining room which again offers the same view and furthers door will open into the kitchen or back out into the hallway. THE KITCHEN The kitchen has a good range of built in storage units and ample work surfaces. There is space for all the expected white goods and the walls have been tiled for ease of cleaning. The floor has been laid with a wood effect lino and a window to the side elevation allows plenty of natural light into the room. Access out to the rear garden can also be gained from this room from the double glazed frosted door. TWO DOUBLE ROOMS There will be no arguments on who gets the bigger bedroom here as they are both approximately the same size with the only difference being that the master has built in wardrobes along one wall. The rooms also both share a similar aspect over the front of the property and offer enough space for the bedroom furniture which we all have. TILED BATHROOM The bathroom has been installed with a modern white three piece suite with the bath offering a shower above and a glass shower screen. You will see that the walls have all been tiled and that the frosted double glazed window allows in the light from the side elevation. LETS GO OUTSIDE.... The front of the home has a driveway which leads to an attached single garage which has a up and over door. There is a path which leads to the main front entrance and continues to the side and into the rear. The front also has a hedged boundary allowing privacy from the homes opposite and there is a lawned garden area also.
We think this rear garden will be hard to beat! Not only is it a great size with patio and shaled seating areas and extensive lawns but at the far end there is gated access out onto the banks of the Mariner with great uninterrupted views of the Mariner and the many boats which are docked there. Don't just look at the photo's, book a viewing and come and see for yourself! DIMENSIONS LOUNGE - 16'3'' X 11'
