"This grade 11 listed manor house was built circa 1600 and possibly incorporating a late medieval building. It is believed the Haulgh family lived here until it was sold in circa 1639 to Sir Orlando Bridgeman, whose father, the Bishop of Chester had bought the Great Lever estate. Their descendants the Earls of Bradford, held it until it was restored and bought by Bolton Council in the early 1980’s. Our clients have lovingly owned Haulgh Hall since 1995. There is a wealth of character features including a domestic chapel area. The property is within close distance of Bolton Town Centre and St Peters Way.
The versatile and very spacious accommodation briefly comprises;
Entrance hall, two living rooms, domestic chapel area two kitchens, with bespoke handmade wooden units, a dining room and a utility/breakfast room. Steps lead down to a useful workshop/cellar.
