"Take your pick all of Whitstable's amenities as they are on your doorstep! Try celebrity Chef's gastro pub The Pearson's Arms for a spot of lunch, or the trendy shopping area in Harbour Street for some retail therapy. With all of this and more we feel certain that this somewhat spacious ground floor apartment will be a fantastic purchase and ideally suited to a holiday home/second home. There is also the added advantage of a garage so there will always be somewhere to park your car even at busy weekends or Bank Holidays.

In July you can watch the annual Oyster Festival which celebrates the tradition of oyster catching in the town which dates back to at least the Roman times or you can stroll just down the road to Whitstable's working harbour and sample the oysters from the sea food restaurant and other sea food stalls dotted around the quayside. From the harbour you can walk onto one of the towns shingle/sandy beaches, popular with walkers, swimmers and water sports enthusiasts. The town also proudly hosts the International Water Ski Championship of theyear and you will never be short of a good vantage point along the coast line to spectate.

Having moved away from Whitstable some years ago we were very keen to renew our ties with Whitstable, and 12 years ago we acquired this property. We felt its location so close to the beach, harbour and shopping facilities would make it an ideal property and we could use it at weekends or holidays. The private courtyard style gardens are a delightful area to relax when the sun shines or catch up with the neighbours over a cup of coffee. Having a garage has meant that parking is never an issue, especially at weekends when parking in the town can be at a premium.
