"This spacious one bedroom house has been in the family since it was built. The granddaughter searched for ages for a one or two bed that would suit her, before deciding to buy her nan’s place because it was so much larger than other one bedroom houses and even some of the two beds.
Over the last 5 years everything has been renovated; even the energy performance man said that it is rare to see that much insulation in the loft. A boiler and full central heating system was fitted in 2007/2008 with a wireless thermostat and individual radiator controls. In the same year, Anglian fitted new double glazed doors and windows. The kitchen and bathroom were both also refitted and a black granite and Italian white marble surround dresses the living flame gas fire; many of these items still have years remaining on their guarantees.
There is off-road parking to the front for two cars and you can also get a permit to park in the parking bays on the road. The house is a short walk to Tonbridge main line station with its fantastic fast service to London, which takes approximately 40 minutes. Tonbridge High Street is just beyond, making this a really convenient location.

My neighbours and the house location have been the two things I’ve enjoyed and will miss the most. There’s a mixture of people living here but we all get along and look out for each other.

Living on my own, I wanted something that felt safe when coming home late at night; being off the main road it is still quiet, but very well lit and such a short walk from the station.
