"Description    This property is ideally situated in the Higham Wood area of north Tonbridge with access to local amenities, doctors and frequent bus service. Also within the Woodlands Primary School catchment area. This semi detached property with off road parking offers two double bedrooms and family bathroom. The living accommodation offers lounge, a kitchen /breakfast room and WC with shower. There is potential for modernisation. The property is double glazed throughout and has gas central heating.

Outside    The rear garden is laid to lawn and shrubs, greenhouse and side gate to driveway. To the front there is parking for two vehicles, hedge boundary and lawn to front and side.

Situation    Tonbridge is a thriving market town that has developed over the centuries. It boasts a fine example of a 'Motte and Bailey' Norman castle built in the 13th century, set on the banks of the river Medway with the castle grounds abutting Tonbridge Park offering covered/open air swimming pool, tennis courts, children's play areas, miniature railway, putting etc. Tonbridge town offers an excellent range of retail and leisure activities with many High Street stores and a full complement of banks and building societies, together with a selection of coffee shops, restaurants and local inns. The mainline station provides fast commuter links into London (Cannon Street/London Bridge/Charing Cross in approximately 40 minutes) with road links to the M20 & M25 motorways via the nearby A26 and A21. Tonbridge offers first-rate primary and secondary schools (including Grammars and Public Schools) many of which consistently do well in the league tables.

-    There are many places of historical interest in the surrounding areas including Penshurst Place and Gardens, Hever Castle, Knowle House and Chartwell (once home to Winston Churchill). There are also many fine inns and restaurants in the area and the town itself is served by the excellent and sought after schools both in the state and private sector. Tonbridge School, in the High Street, with its beautiful fan++ade and 150 acre site is one of the leading boarding schools in the country and there are some excellent state Grammar Schools including Tonbridge Girls Grammar and The Weald and The Judd School for boys. Set close to open countryside, there are wonderful riverside and country walks, Hayesden Country Park with lakes for fishing and sailing, and miles of cycle tracks.

Directions    Turn north from the Tonbridge office, turning right at the Bordyke onto the A26 towards Hadlow. Travel for approximately 1 mile taking the fourth turning on your left which is for Higham Lane. Travel approximately 1/2 mile where you will see the Martin Hardie Way, this is the local amenities. Turn left and go through the local amenities, proceed along straight and take the next turning right which is Constable Road. The property will be found on the left hand side.
