Location

Situated in the popular village of Hextable. Hextable is a leafy village in the Sevenoaks district of Kent. It lies North of the villages of Farningham, Otford and Eynesford. West of the villages of South Darenth and Horton Kirby and South of the village of Wilmington. The origin of the village name harks back to Saxon times. The village grew up in late Victorian times with the selling off of Hextable Farm in 1870 (prior to that there were only three houses on the land that now comprises the village). With the arrival of Swanley junction, now known as Swanley railway station, the village grew again now enjoys the reputation of a semi rural location with good schools, excellent travel links both via road (M25, M20, A20) and rail enjoying fast trains to London from Swanley (25 minutes) and the other direction, all the way to the coast. Bluewater Shopping Centre is approximately 20 minutes away making Hextable an excellent choice for a village location but with town amenities on its doorstep.
