What the Owner says:

My house was originally built in 1945 and we moved to it in 1958 as local authority tenants. When the tenants right to buy was announced we jumped at the opportunity to own our own house and make the improvements we always talked about having.

One of the first improvements made was the garage and downstairs WC which was the envy of our neighbours and that was followed by an extension to the dining room to provide a room large enough to eat and sit in and enjoy the view to the garden. I have also installed double-glazing, cavity wall insulation, part central heating and a water softener but I am also aware there is some updating and further modernisation required.
