"Are you fed up with looking at standard victorian houses that all look the same and provide the same accommodation, then look no further, for this house has been the subject of considerable modernisation and improvement works since being owned by the present owners for the last 10 years. They could see an enormous potential in the property and since owning it has provided additional space with the provision of a professionally converted loft room and a professionally converted basement.

The 21' basement room is truly fantastic and has been great space for their children, but would also make a superb home cinema room or games room.

When the owners were first looking for a property, they particularly wanted to be on the south side of Sittingbourne, knowing it to be a popular location and to be within walking distance of the town centre was also an advantage. When this particular house came along it was in the right location, close to the town centre and it had the rare advantage of a garage situated to the rear of the property where the husband could keep his classic car.

The three separate bedrooms off the landing were ideal, so all the family had their own space and the front lounge being situated off the entrance hall, meant they could keep at least one room child free!

We bought our house 10 years ago from Ward & Partners and after viewing numerous properties this particular house stood out from the crowd, by virtue of its location and the potential we could see to make improvements.

Converting the basement was a godsend as it gave our children their own space and the loft room has proved to be invaluable. We have also refitted the bathroom with a twist combining contemporary and victorian styling.
