The garden is laid to grass with a wooded area, the border is fenced on one side by Mill Lane and on the other side the dyke borders the property where you will often see swans and ducks paddling by and sometimes, moorhens scuttling about in the fields where the sheep graze.

Newchurch is just five miles from the sandy beaches of Dymchurch and 11 miles from Ashford International Railway Station with its High Speed link to London in just 38 minutes. There is a local bus service to Ashford and New Romney. The closest Supermarket, shops and schools are in New Romney 5 miles away.
