"Mark and Paula purchased this property back in 1999 when it was a slightly neglected and empty property in need of some tender loving care. In the last 12 years they have completely transformed this property into a beautiful comfortable home, retaining its character and adding some lovely features.

A two storey extension has created two extra living rooms, an additional bedroom, larger bathroom and on the other side of the house an additional utility room and WC. Major landscaping works were needed externally to change the sloping garden into a useable flat space, making it ideal for the family.

Mark and Paula have enjoyed many summer evenings in the garden, with the large patio area particularly enjoying the afternoon and evening sun.

So to summarise, if you want to up sticks and move to your dream family home, but do not want the worries of building work, or even picking up the paintbrush, then this has got to be top of your viewing list.

What the Owner says:

We are only considering this move for the opportunity of repeating exactly what we have managed to do here, which has been a total labour of love creating the best house that we could for our family.

Almost everything has been changed, updated or modernised since we have been here and we have particularly enjoyed the open plan kitchen/dining area, which has been great for family entertaining. Living in Strood previously we have found it to be a great location for schools and everything else that we need ,such as getting onto the motorway quickly, or popping down to the shops for the daily essentials.
