"A family home in an acre of land built in the heart of the Kingswood. This parcel of land was given to the original owner by the king in thanks for their duty in defence of the realm. A reward of peace and tranquillity, a space to breath in crisp clean air and relax.
Whilst the rest of the world has spun itself into a frenzy of activity, filled with cars, busy roads, and 24 hours shops, there are still some places where a feeling of calm remains - this is one of those few places.
On entering through the iron gates you feel a sense of excitement, crossing the threshold is no different, the entrance lobby greets you with its cleverly positioned windows flooding light in. On one side is a bedroom overlooking the driveway, on the other a cloakroom.
On entering the main part of the house you find yourself in a stunning kitchen/breakfast room. This serves many other rooms and is the beating heart of this busy family home. It walks a fine line between elegance and practicality but delivers equally in both areas.
There is a utility room with access to the side (ideal for hiding muddy boots) and off the second hallway you have three bedrooms and a shower room with a loft hatch with a fabulous secret!
The lounge and dining room to the rear of the home are designed for you to enjoy an uninterrupted view of the land; an acre of the countryside gently rolling away from you, a picture in all seasons.

What the Owner says:

We loved the property from the first time we came here, the house needed so much work but the chance to live in this location doesn't come up very often. The garden was like having our own park for the children to play in, so it was safe, secure and quiet - perfect to raise a family in.
The house has changed completely from the original, its been a lot of hard work, but very rewarding. When you can enjoy breakfast on the patio in the sunshine or relax in the hot tub of an evening just watching the stars, you know that you've found somewhere special. We're very proud of our home, but it's time for a new adventure for us. We're sure whoever lives here will enjoy it as much as we have.
