"Lenham is a beautiful village, full of tradition and character with an excellent range of shops and amenities. Here we have a good sized family home with a garden backing onto allotments, sitting beautifully in between the mainline train station and the medieval market square.

If you have children it’s ideal because the school is nearby. In the other direction is the train station, which gives you access to London – so for anyone commuting this is really worth coming to see. The layout is traditional for a property of this age, however the current owners have had an extension incorporating a utility room behind the garage.

The garden is roughly 70ft in length with nobody backing onto you, so you have space and privacy behind.

You’ll see throughout the street that some people have extended and improved their properties – this only happens when people live in a nice location but need more space. This property has scope (subject to obtainable permission) for further extensions or a garage conversion to block paving the front to offer excellent parking space for the family.

What this home offers you is a great location and a wealth of opportunities to adapt with your changing needs.

What the Owner says:

The garden was the first thing that drew us to the property as well as the location. Having to get into London each day meant that the train or the M20 were both really easy to get to, but knowing you could come home of an evening and relax in the garden was lovely. As time has passed we’ve realised that it’s a very practical place to live. There’s a school and all the shops you could need, I only realised how valuable shops were in the village when it snowed, we were cut off but it didn’t matter as all the shops are a short walk away. I’ll really miss the village and the garden, but most of all the neighbours, you couldn’t find better people to live next door to.
