"A substantial detached family house situated in a prime position at the top of Sandgate Hill and on the corner of Coolinge Lane. The property was built circa 1900 and retains many attractive features including large, light and spacious rooms with high ceilings, attractive fireplaces and an original tiled entrance hall. The location of the property between the West End of Folkestone and Sandgate is ideal for schooling and other amenities and the property is in walking distance of the lovely village of Sandgate and also Folkestone West train station with the High Speed link to London. The position of the property also means that there are sea views from the upper rooms and the garden.
The accommodation comprises to the ground floor a good sized entrance hallway with an attractive fireplace and staircase to the first floor, a large sitting room to the front with an open fireplace and a box bay window to the front, a huge separate dining room with a box bay window to the side of the property which is perfect for entertaining and has its own entrance door to the front of the property so it may be used as separate accommodation if required. There is a breakfast room/family room with French doors leading onto a sunny and screened patio area and the garden beyond, a walk-in boiler room with plenty of space for airing clothes and a down stairs cloakroom. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and includes a range style cooker, there is also a large window which opens out fully onto the patio area which is perfect during the summer.
