"Oh my goodness! The kitchen has been knocked through to the dining room and, well, what a spectacular area this is overlooking the hills and garden. Every attention to quality and detail has been paid, even down to the designer style fittings and solid timber work tops. Our client has gone through the house and stripped the floorboards, polished and varnished and it really does complement the original features and fireplaces. They have refurbished and replaced the sash windows. Even the radiators are a contemporary style with a period twist. Whilst the children and guests can use the bathroom on the top floor the real wow factor has to be the big bathroom with its free standing shower and large contemporary bath. Other semis in this small close have put in off road parking to the front. There's potential to add a first floor sun deck leading from the kitchen/family room out to the garden - it would make a great area for al fresco dining.

What the Owner says:

"We walked in and fell in love with the private garden and wonderful far-reaching view over the hills. We were delighted to find such a large garden in this area, and with my husband only having a couple of minutes walk to the high speed trains to London, we just had to buy it. We really hope all the original features, original fireplaces and our stunning knocked-through kitchen/family room are enjoyed by the new owners - it's great being able to cook and chat to the children when they are doing their homework. Having four double bedrooms and a second bathroom is great for the family and for all our guests."
