"You know as soon as you approach the building this apartment is situated in that it is something very special. Walking through the front door you will observe that this is a fine example of Victorian architecture built in Folkestone's hey day - quite possibly for a wealthy industrialist looking for a summer getaway close to the sea. We understand the building was converted into apartments approximately 25 years ago in a sympathetic manner maintaining all the features typical of a property from this era. When entering the home you will be hit with the immediate feeling of grandeur. The lounge is a stunning room exploiting the glorious light coming through the generous bay window which offers you the prospect of watching the world go by gazing out across the English Channel. This view is continued through to the master bedroom again enjoying glimpses of the sea via the superb bay window. This, along with the adjoining en-suite, creates a master bedroom suited to the most discerning buyers. With this said, there is superb scope for you to really put your own mark on the home. Generally in good order, a new kitchen or bathroom along with subtle decorating will make this a home all your family and friends will look at with green eyes.

What the Owner says:

"When my mother retired she was particularly drawn to the West End of Folkestone as she loved the area. When she moved in 25 years ago it was a newly converted apartment and she was impressed with how light and airy it was compared to the dark and dingy apartments she also saw. She had fantastic relationships with the neighbours, often meeting for lunch, and she really enjoyed walks along The Leas and the convenience of having the town centre around the corner."
