"This adorable period cottage is situated within the pretty village of Harbledown which is only 1 mile from the cultural city of Canterbury where there is an abundance of amenities and leisure activities. The kitchen is to the rear and has plenty of units, worktops, an integrated oven with hob and extractor hood over, access out to the rear garden and a clever window tunnel in the roof. Upstairs are two double bedrooms with solid wooden flooring, built in storage and an ornate original fireplace in the rear bedroom. From here there are great views over the roof tops and the countryside beyond.

Across from the property is St Nicholas?s Hospital and Church which is thought to be England's first leper hospital. Founded in c.1084 by the Archbishop of Canterbury 'Lanfranc', it was converted into Alms-houses in 1840. The Old Coach & Horses public house is a former coach house on the ancient London to Canterbury road, providing visitors with traditional ale and food. For those wishing to soak in the country air, there are plenty of good walking routes across the Kentish countryside right on the doorstep. For those needing to commute, there are two train stations in Canterbury, both of which have links to London Victoria. Canterbury West Station is 1 mile away and has a high-speed service that takes you to London St Pancras in under an hour.
