"This four bedroom detached property is an exceptional location for a large family home. It is very conveniently situated, in walking distance from a number of primary and secondary schools as well as the University of Kent. The quiet, end of close position make it a safe and secure environment for children.

The St. Stephens area is one of the most sought after locations in Canterbury for many reasons; the primary school with outstanding offsted reports, the nearby secondary schools, the proximity to the fast link at Canterbury West train station and only being walking distance to town.

To illustrate how lovely and sought after this close is, the last home to be sold was this one, 12 years ago!. The living space has been modified and extended in that time with the integral garage having been converted into another reception room giving you plenty of room to spread the family out. Whether it is used as an extra downstairs bedroom or a great study it really is up to you how you wish to make your own mark.

There is a detached garage to the side of the home, the front garden and a garden that stretches right around the back to give a great corner plot position in the Close. The property is being offered with no forward chain so a quick move is available for the right buyer.

What the Owner says:

Our house has been a wonderful family home set in a very friendly Close . We struggled to find anything comparable at the time of purchase due to the unique nature of the location; being close to the centre of Canterbury and yet set in a quiet, spacious spot. It offers very flexible and spacious accommodation but also the potential to extend further without impinging on the nature of the plot. We have recently updated many aspects of the house from flooring to windows, central heating to decoration. It is ready for the new owner to move in immediately. The sale is a very reluctant one and only due to an unexpected job relocation.
