"One careful family owner since 1932, that is not something that you hear every day. This house has seen 3 generations of the same family but now it is time for change. I personally love this location as it is in the heart of Barnehurst. Buyers flock into Barnehurst for many different reasons, however the same reason usually tops the buyers list and that is; Schools and Stations. You will find that this house is centrally positioned for both Burstead Woods Primary School and Barnehurst Primary School. Arguably two of the areas finest schools and results recently have proven that. If you are a commuter then this is perfectly placed for you because Barnehurst main line train station is approximately 1/4 mile away, which for the average walker would take around 5 minutes. Internally this offers the following accommodation; downstairs you will find 2 separate reception rooms, a lounge and a dining room. Because this is a chalet style home it also has a downstairs bathroom and a further bedroom 4 which is often used as a study. There is also a kitchen at the rear which could do with replacing in the future but this gives you your chance to put your dream kitchen in with those granite work tops. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms, however please note that bedroom 3 is directly off the main bedroom, but subject to getting planning permission from the local council it is crying out for a further extension upstairs to rearrange the bedrooms and a further extension to the ground floor

What the Owner says:

My house was passed to me by my mother and as again passed to her by her mother. I had my own property at the time but knew I just had to move back here as it is where my heart is. Accessibility always comes to mind when I think of my house as it is perfect if you want to be near fantastic schools, close to the station and shops, which are all within walking distance. Over the years we have maintained the house, but the last project left to do was the kitchen, but I will leave that up to you now. However it is just time for us to move on and be closer to the family on the coast. I wish whoever buys our house all the happiness in the world.
