"This house is like a tardis. Walking up to the front door for the first time you get the impression that this is just another three bedroom mid terrace. But you will be shocked with the space that is available in this home.

The bright sitting room has an open fire, however the chimney would need to be reinstated in the loft. If you are looking for a room where you can prepare dinner or breakfast whilst the children sit around the dining room table, then the open plan kitchen diner will be perfect for you.

There is a large utility room where you can hide away all your white goods and an enclosed walkway, which could double up as a drying or storage area. As the owner’s family grew they needed more space so added a conservatory, giving the kids their own games room / lounge.

Upstairs there are the most amazing views over the North Downs from the master bedroom and on the landing there is an office / storage room.

Now for outside, where this home is a real surprise. There is the benefit of a garage en-bloc, a nice sized front garden and an unusual shaped rear garden. Normally with a terraced home the garden is only the width of your house, but not with this one, it is the width of two houses giving an extremely large garden for the children to play cricket / football in.

What the Owner says:

I bought this house fourteen years ago when the children were very young. What we were looking for was a spacious house in a village and all the cosy things that go with village life. Sellindge has definitely lived up to that for us.

Both of my boys play football so the large leisure ground has given them many hours of enjoyment. If you ever run out of anything there is a local shop with a post office and if you have a young family like me, you will be pleased to know that the doctor’s surgery has an excellent reputation.

The local primary school has scored very well in the recent Ofsted reports and the icing on the cake is the active village hall.
