"With fabulous views over local countryside to the front and rear, this spacious double fronted 1930s, detached property joins the market for the first time in over 50 years ready for its next family to enjoy with plenty of potential for further extension and improvements. The spacious entrance hall really benefits from the natural light that the upstairs landing has from the windows that overlook both the front and rear of the property. The living room is triple aspect spanning the depth of the property with a feature fireplace and French doors leading to the conservatory which is to the side of the property. Both the living and dining room have box bay windows overlooking the boarded, mature front garden. The spacious dining room has plenty of room for a large dining table, gas fireplace and serving hatch to the kitchen. The kitchen is in need of updating but there are plenty of opportunities for the new owner to reconfigure this to a larger kitchen/breakfast room either by opening it up to the current dining room or by extending to the rear and enabling a stunning view overlooking the rear garden (subject to the usual planning consents). The window overlooks outbuildings which, in the summer months, is covered in wisteria. There is a rear door with a small porch area leading to the garden. The landing has exceptional views to the front and rear with a box storage bench under the rear window. There are three double bedrooms ? two of which are generous sizes with views across fields to the front. The bathroom is in need of updating. Currently there is a bath, sink and airing cupboard. New carpets have been laid to the entrance hall, dining room, landing and two of the bedrooms. There is still so much potential for the next family to add a double storey extension if desired to include a larger kitchen/breakfast room with a bedroom and en-suite above (subject to consents).
Outside
Keen gardeners are in for a treat with the generous gardens. The large front lawn is bordered with mature hedges, trees and plants. There is a driveway for several vehicles leading to the 24ft garage. The rear garden has been well kept with trees and hedges to the boundary, mature vegetable and flower gardens and a mature orchard. There is a greenhouse to the rear of the garden and a summerhouse just outside the back of the property. At the back of the property itself is a utility room/wc.
