"Tired with being sent the same old properties in the same old area? If you're looking for something a little different within a certain budget, then you search may well end here!!

Situated in Ruckinge, a small hamlet just to the east of Hamstreet, this attractive cottage is set away and elevated from the road and a 50' garden leads you to the front door.

The lounge hosts a solid fuel burner set within a brick fireplace and wooden beams adorn the ceiling. Old becomes new when you walk through to the kitchen which was fitted about 2 years ago. The bathroom upstairs is only slightly older, but the floorboards have been exposed to continue the mix of old and new!!

The views from the bedroom stretch south towards Romney Marsh and the coast beyond. Meanwhile the back garden has views over the fields to the rear.

When I was looking for a property 10 years ago, I was inundated with properties in Ashford. Some of them were 'okay', but the areas weren't really the best.

When I drove down to view this property, I came into Hamstreet and the drive here and location of the house was enough in itself, but the overall area is brilliant. It's quiet and peaceful and the canal is just down the road and you can walk to Hythe one way or all the way to Rye the other!!
