"Looking for a family home in quiet cul-de-sac? Then look no further! This home has all the qualities associated with the needs of a growing family.

The lounge is large with southerly and easterly windows that let in a lot of light, making this a really pleasant airy room where you can sit and relax.

The real hub of the home is the open kitchen/diner. This a great place to help the kids with the homework whist you are cooking the evening meal. The current owner had the dining room added approximately 20 years ago and she has found this a lovely room to sit in as she has been able to enjoy the garden from this room even with frightful weather outside.
All family homes need good sized bedrooms and this home certainly has those. The master bedroom would make an excellent sanctuary from which to retire to at the end of a busy day, with plenty of space for large bedroom furniture and, if you wished, to add an en-suite too.

The real highlight of this home is the back garden. There is plenty of outside space and a lawn for the kids to run around on; there are some nice adult features too. There is a large crazy paved patio from where you can look out over the local lake and enjoy the views, whether the lake is calm or in use with the local water sports clubs. This is a great area for entertaining friends and family with BBQs on balmy summer days!

What the Owner says:

I have lived here for 47 years and have raised my family here after relocating from Watford. I have now taken the decision to go and live with my son and I will be sad to leave. We were instantly attracted to this house after looking around the garden and being able to see the lake. We have had many parties and BBQs over the years and lots of our friends have admired it too.

I have found living here really convenient, as there are good local schools and there is a bus stop at the end of Palmarsh Avenue, which has made it really easy for us to pop into town.

In July 2011 I replaced the boiler with a condensing combination boiler.
