Location

Hillside is situated in the popular village of Soberton. The village benefits from a village pub, primary school and the 12th century parish church of St. Peter & St. Paul. St. Paul. Soberton lies within the South Downs National Park offering a variety of activities, from hiking and cycling to exploring historic sites and enjoying the natural beauty.

The attractive market towns of Bishops Waltham and Wickham are both approximately 4 miles distant and offer excellent shopping and leisure facilities. Mainline stations can be found at Petersfield and Winchester, approximately 12 and 15 miles respectively, with regular connections to London Waterloo .

There are a number of excellent schools in the area. In Petersfield there is Bedales with its preparatory establishment and Churcher s College. To the north at Odiham is Lord Wandsworth College and at Winchester there are a number of well known schools including Winchester College, St Swithun s School for girls and Twyford and Pilgrims Prep School.

Recreational facilities include golf at Corhampton and the Meon Valley Country Club, fly fishing on the Rivers Itchen, Dever and Test. There are racecourses at Newbury, Goodwood and Salisbury together with sailing on the South Coast within 15 miles.
