"A very spacious and beautifully appointed apartment forming part of a very handsome landmark building standing close to the centre of the town. The careful conversion of Westbrooke House by Wey Valley Homes in 2015 has created a stunning apartment whilst still retaining all of the inherent character of the original building with well-proportioned rooms with high ceilings, fireplaces and large floor and ceiling windows. The feeling of space and character is immediate with a grand communal reception hall providing independent access to each individual apartments by way of a telephone entry system. Internally, the very sympathetic conversion together with our clients' furnishing has created a home of real character and style with decorative cornicing and ceiling roses. The apartment is exceptionally well presented and the generous accommodation includes a large sitting/dining room, opening to a fully fitted open plan kitchen. The spacious kitchen is set around an island and is fitted with a range of cabinets. There are a number of integrated appliances including an electric oven, microwave, hob with extractor over, dishwasher and fridge/ freezer. There are two spacious bedrooms. The principal bedroom is a large double room and the guest bedroom is complemented by an en-suite shower room. There is also a separate family bathroom. Of note, each of the bath and shower rooms have been fitted with stylish white sanitary ware. There are very few properties within the local area that are as well-appointed and in internal viewing is strongly recommended to fully appreciate the space, character and presentation of this apartment.
