"This is a substantial four bedroom detached family residence, which is situated in a non-estate location, on the fringe of the historical market town of Alton. The property has been extended over the years and now enjoys generous living accommodation with a good sized entrance hallway giving access to the lounge, the dining room and the kitchen/ breakfast room. From here there is a further hallway leading to the utility room, storage area, downstairs W.C. and then onto the integral garage and the side entrance.
Upstairs this family home provides four good sized bedrooms, one with an en-suite, and there is a family bathroom, fitted with a four piece suite. There is also a large loft space with ample storage.
Outside of the property there is a generous driveway to the font of the property allowing parking for several cars, as well as a large detached timber built garage/ workshop. To the rear of the property the landscaped gardens extend up and away from the property to then allow for some fantastic views across some of the surrounding countryside. The outside space also includes a considerable patio area for outside dining.
Favourably located for some of the well regarded local schools, the property also benefits from being a short walk to the town with its array of high street/ independent shops and cafes as well as the mainline railway station which services London Waterloo.

What the Owner says:

What first attracted us to our home when we decided to buy it, was that it was spacious house in a good location. The garden was a big plus as it was large enough to please two energetic boys.
We were drawn to the area by the lovely view and it was near enough to the town of Alton for us but also very close to the beautiful countryside.
We have improved the house over the years in many ways, including extending it at the front and back to give us much bigger reception rooms and a larger kitchen, which is great for a growing family.
Overall, it has a lovely feel and a big selling point is that it is set back from the road, so it is nice and quiet.
