"Ty Newydd is a charming two/three bedroom stone cottage just below the hamlet of Mynytho that has been tastefully refurbished and extended by the present owners.
The kitchen has tiled flooring, a range of units with wooden worktops and a Belfast sink. Space and plumbing for a dishwasher. Space for Rangemaster cooker. Front and rear windows. Beamed ceiling. A staircase from the kitchen leads to the first floor.
On the first floor is the master bedroom with dormer window to the front with views of the countryside and towards Cardigan Bay and window to the rear, exposed timber flooring. The second bedroom has exposed timber flooring and a dormer window. The family bathroom has a white three piece suite.
A most comfortable lounge also lies in the original part of the cottage with fitted cast iron wood burning stove which also heats the central heating system, storage heaters act as a back up.
The old barn and pig sty has now been converted into a delightful open vaulted dining room/studio with exposed timber floor, part exposed stone work to one wall. The utility has tiled flooring and plumbing for a washing machine. The shower room has an electric shower, low flush WC, pedestal wash hand basin and towel radiator. The crog loft bedroom is above the utility, with access from the dining room and has a Velux skylight, apex ceiling and slight limited headroom in part.
Outside there is private gravel parking for 4 vehicles. To the front of the property is a natural meadow area with fruit trees and a small vegetable garden. There is a front lawned area with dwarf stone wall, flower borders and a raised crazy paving terraced area. There are two timber sheds and a greenhouse to the side boundary, outside power socket and log store.
