"Penarlag is a substantial detached property dating back to 1927, constructed of traditional stone under a slated roof. Located in a slightly elevated, but prominent position over the town, the property commands the most spectacular south facing views of the Cader Idris Mountain Range from both inside and outside the property.

With high ceilings, light, spacious and well-proportioned rooms, the property has a wonderful array of original features to include, pitch pine doors, decorative leaded windows and impressive wooden Parquet block flooring.

Previously, the property has been used as 2 dwellings with each having their own private entrance. Living accommodation is over 2 floors in the one part and 3 floors over the remaining section.

The property is well presented throughout yet would benefit from some updating and modernisation and once completed will make the most wonderful family home. Penarlag has the advantage of becoming one large family home, or the option to create an income by letting out one half of the property.

Externally, the property is approached via a large sweeping, gated driveway with ample off-road parking to front and rear of the property.

The magnificent wrap round, gardens and lawns, have been well cared for and maintained to an excellent standard and the abundance of mature shrubs, trees and flowers add colour and interest throughout the year. There is a patio area to admire the wonderful views, alongside a variety of useful outbuildings to include a greenhouse and detached garage.

Viewing is highly recommended to appreciate the potential this property has to offer.
