"Nightingale Lane is in a sought after area in the heart of Wanstead village just steps away from Colton Square with 'The Lanes' restaurant, newsagent, photography gallery and 'The Nightingale' village pub. It is also conveniently located for Wanstead High Street with its numerous shopping facilities, restaurants, bars and both Wanstead and Snaresbrook Central Line stations.

The current owner has created a great family home since owning the property, comprising an en suite shower room and walk in dressing room to the master bedroom, 2 further bedrooms, an upgraded family bathroom and extended contemporary, open plan kitchen/diner.

The property is really rather deceptive and must be viewed internally to fully appreciate the space and extremely high standard of modern contemporary decoration combined with a subtle blend of original features.

We have lived here for nearly 4 years and have found Wanstead is a great place to live. We have great neighbours and there is real sense of community here.
It would be difficult to find a more convenient location for shops, restaurants and pubs. Just yards away there is a great restaurant and pub in Colton Square and a few minutes further we have the whole High Street. Wanstead provides for a great balance between city and country living, with great access to the west end in under half an hour, but with a high street packed full of independent shops. The farmers market which visits regularly is also a real treat.
We both work in the City, so being close to the tube is very important to us.
