"Built toward the end of Edward's reign and still retaining much of its original charm, this decidedly spacious four bedroom semi detached will win you over at first inspection. Picture rails, high ceilings, fireplaces, ceiling roses, timber floors and stained glass run generously throughout. There's a huge storage cellar, original sash windows and a wonderful sunny conservatory from whence to enjoy the south facing garden. Off street parking and a decent sized front garden complete the package nicely. You're well placed for all life's necessities. Parks, pubs, schools and transport are all within easy reach.
A path leads off the gently sloping street past a pebble bed and off street parking. A side entrance gate sits on your left and leads through a locked gate to the rear garden. The original stained glass door is recessed and opens in to a long hallway with dado rails, ceiling rose and original timber floors. The first reception sits left and stretches into the wide front bay. An original fireplace, hood, mantel and tiled hearth keep the period theme running strong. The kitchen comes next in line with plentiful cabinet and counter space, rustic floorboards and a huge side facing sash window. An original 'arts and crafts' sideboard will no doubt catch your gaze too. There's integrated seating running into an L on the left wall - it'll seat the whole family. A utility room runs off down two steps and offers space for the washing machine and tumble dryer. There's a wc and walk in shower with funky glass bricks in addition to further garden access. Back in the hall you descend a mini flight to find the cellar access. A second reception runs from the end of the hall. Here, another joyous fireplace with tiled hearth takes centre stage - it's a real honey! A wide glass pane door leads from here to your conservatory which soaks in that sunny southerly aspect. Underfloor heating makes it the perfect spot whatever time of year.

A rear bi-fold door opens onto a paved patio and the lawn. A well established vine on the rear decking produces an abundance of grapes. You'll note apple, fig, pear and plum trees too - imagine the pies! There's a handy shed to the rear and a handy bike shed close to the house. You'll even be able to erect a hammock between two of the rear trees and swing the summer away. Skip upstairs to find the spacious rear return. The first of your wonderful bedrooms has a rear aspect and another jaw dropping feature fireplace. Picture rails separate complimentary wall shades. Also on this floor you'll find a wc, two recessed storage cupboards and a bathroom with bidet, heated towel rail and rear facing double glazed sash window. Head up to the first floor to find your front facing master bedroom. It enjoys the front bay window, more picture rails and another gorgeous fireplace - that tiling! A near single room fronts the street too. The fourth and final bedroom completes the accommodation with a feature fireplace and side facing sash window. Ravel is a cinch with the fab London Overground line at Honor Oak Park. This will whisk you to the Jubilee Line in 10 minutes. From here Canary Wharf is only one stop. The main line trains are great too with fast, frequent and direct services to Victoria and beyond. Yet it is in one of the leafiest parts of southeast London, with the green spaces of One Tree Hill and Honor Oak Park nearby, as well as the lovely Horniman Gardens and Museum

(free entrance!). Blythe Hill Fields is a much loved local park - it's just at the top of the road. There are some useful shops on Brockley Rise or you can go to Forest Hill where you?ll find a Sainsbury's and lots of lovely coffee shops. For dinner, try the renowned Indian brassiere Babur, just around the corner. We love Le Querce Italian restaurant too. There's a Sainbury's local if you're staying in for dinner.
