SITUATION Long Newnton is a hamlet located midway between the historic market towns of Malmesbury and Tetbury, surrounded by open countryside. Tetbury is a well known market town centred around the attractive Market Hall, which has a market every Wednesday and Saturday. The town has a range of everyday shops and amenities including two supermarkets, a butcher, charming cosy pubs, friendly cafes and is also a noted centre for antiques. The hilltop town of Malmesbury is officially recognised as England's oldest borough.
