"Set on the edge of Joys Green Estate above the former primary school, School House is a substantial, characterful and spacious 4 bedroom house. Built in the 1880s of stone, both garden and house enjoy far reaching views.

The property is entered via an unenclosed porch. Downstairs are three reception rooms which have been used variously over the years, a fitted kitchen, utility room, and larder. There is a downstairs shower and toilet. A pine wooden staircase leads to the first landing where there is one bedroom and a bathroom with a shower and bath. The staircase turns up to the second landing to a further three bedrooms, one of which is currently being used as a lounge.

Joys Green is situated above the Wye River approximately half way between the market towns of Ross-on Wye and Monmouth whilst being on the edge of the Forest of Dean where it is possible to canoe, walk, rock climb and see wildlife. There is a primary school in nearby Lydbrook and secondary schools in Mitcheldean, Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth.
