"A detached Grade II Listed half-timbered house set in approx 0.7 acre grounds with double garage and off-road parking situated in the quiet hamlet of Elmore and nearby Elmore Court. The original part is of cruck framed construction and is believed to date from the 16th Century with subsequent 17th Century additions in a similar Tudor style. As expected with a property of this age, it exhibits a range of historical architectural genres including several leaded oriel windows, brick inglenook fireplace in the well proportioned sitting room, a further inglenook housing the range with bread oven in the kitchen/breakfast room, elm floorboards and most unusual open wattle panels on the landing above the stairs. The flexible layout also includes a separate dining room, a garden room currently used as a study and a useful ground floor shower/cloakroom. On the first floor the master bedroom is situated over the sitting room and the brick chimney breast extends up from below to form a delightful feature fireplace. There are a further 3 bedrooms, a family bathroom and large loft space that has potential for conversion (subject to the relevant planning permissions)."
