"A well-presented and spacious ground floor apartment within a Victorian Country Manor House, situated in the unspoilt Cotswolds village of Eastleach.

Situation and Amenities Lechlade 5 miles; Fairford 5 miles; Burford 7 miles; Cirencester 13 miles; Swindon 19 miles (all distance approximate)

Eastleach is one of the most sought after villages within the Cotswolds. It is known as the ?daffodil village? in honour of the flowers that grow in profusion throughout the village during spring. It has a village hall, public house and a sports field with a children?s playground. The nearest primary school is just over a mile away at Southrop and the independent Hatherop Castle School is situated about 3 miles away.

Most daily requirements can be found in Lechlade which has a good range of shops, banks, post office and surgery. More extensive facilities are available in Fairford (5 miles). Fairford provides excellent shopping as well as surgery, library, bank, chemist, dental practice and cottage hospital, together with sports/leisure centre. There is also a very highly-regarded and popular Secondary School (Farmor?s School) and also a local primary school. The larger centres of Cirencester, Swindon and Oxford are also within easy driving distance.

Local sporting facilities are excellent. Golf at Burford, Cirencester and Highworth; Racing at Cheltenham, Bath and Newbury; Polo at Cirencester Park. Theatres and cultural activities in Cheltenham, Oxford and Swindon. Water sports at Cotswold Water Park. There is a mainline train station at Swindon with a regular service to London Paddington.
