"Hill House is situated within the sought after village of Hempstead, built in approximately 1972 of brick and block work with rendered/pargetted elevations under a tiled roof. The property offers spacious reception rooms with a reception lobby linking through to the hallway with turning staircase to the first floor accommodation. The well proportioned sitting room has an open fireplace and glazed double doors leading through to the rear gardens. The dining room links through to the galley-style kitchen with an excellent range of base and wall cabinets, work surfaces and a small wine cellar. In addition, there is a utility room, a spacious cloakroom and the integral garage is accessed via the kitchen. To the first floor is a good sized landing, the master bedroom with en suite shower room, 3 further bedrooms (2 currently being used as a hobby room and a study).
Outside, the property is approached by a tarmacadam driveway providing parking for 3-4 vehicles leading to the integral garage 17' 5" x 8' 5" with single up-and-over door, power and light connected, half glazed door to garden and further door to the kitchen. The front gardens are laid to lawn with mature tree and shrub planting. A side access leads to the rear garden with fine views over open farmland, are well maintained, principally laid to lawn with mature tree and shrub planting and offer privacy and seclusion. The lower terrace area with dwarf brick wall surrounds overlooks the rear garden and upper terracing. To the side of the property is a timber framed garden shed and open fronted log store and storage area. The gardens are approximately 70ft wide x 40ft deep.Directions

From Saffron Walden take the Radwinter Road passing through the villages of Sewards End and Radwinter following signs to The Bumpsteads and Hempstead. Upon entering the village of Hempstead proceed down the hill and Hill House will be found on the left hand side before the sharp left hand bend."
