"A beautifully presented and charming detached village home which has the addition of a superb self contained barn conversion, located in the Essex village of Sturmer.

Suffolk Edge is a charming grade II listed property which has many fine period features including exposed timbers, an open fire place and a wonderful country kitchen complete with an AGA. The attractive accommodation is well appointed and maintained, and has good ceiling heights throughout.

Located in the Essex village of Sturmer the attractive home sits in good sized gardens which offers ample parking to the front and a good degree of privacy to the rear.

The ground floor accommodation is accessed from the heart of the home, the wonderful country kitchen / dining room which offers an AGA, which is set in a red brick inglenook, brick pavior flooring and timbered walls and ceiling. There is a beautiful and nicely proportioned sitting room which has a large red brick inglenook fireplace with an open stove and exposed timbers to ceilings and walls. From the kitchen you can gain access to the study and also a useful utility room. From the utility room there is access to a bathroom which then has access to the boot room.

The Essex village of Sturmer is located on the A1017 just two miles South East of the Suffolk market town of Haverhill. Cambridge is around 20 miles, Saffron Walden 15 miles, Stansted Airport is 21 miles and Bury St. Edmunds is approximately 20 miles."
