"An imposing period family home situated on the edge of the sought after village of Newick. The property sits very proud in its grounds and offers well planned accommodation over three floors with many original features throughout which provide much charm and character. The principle rooms offer wonderful ceiling height adding to the period feel of this home, which also includes fireplaces and ornate stained glass. On the ground floor the accommodation includes a spacious principle reception room which runs from the front to the back of the property with large windows to either end. The kitchen/breakfast room is fitted with a range of units and also provides an internal link to the annexe. The bedrooms are arranged over the first and second floors and served by bathrooms on both floors.

Annexe - This has its own entrance, but can also be accessed internally from the main house. Presented in very good decorative order, the accommodation comprises of a good sized sitting room, bedroom, kitchen and a bathroom. The gardens have been arranged in such a way that the annexe has its own private area.

Situation
Newick is a pretty Sussex village located on the A272 mid-way between Haywards Heath and Uckfield. Newick is easily accessible and provides a good range of local shops including a post office, bakery, village store, 3 public houses and Newick Tandoori. Haywards Heath (approximately 7 miles) provides a wider range of shopping together with a mainline train station with a fast and frequent service to London (Victoria/London Bridge in approximately 45 minutes). Newick has a very popular primary school and there is secondary education in both Chailey and Uckfield together with many private schools including Great Walstead, Cumnor House, Lewes Old Grammar School, Ardingly, Hurst College and Burgess Hill School for Girls. The village of Newick has a thriving community with a range of sports clubs from tennis and cricket to bowls, and a wide range of local groups. It also boasts Newick bonfire society, which many consider second only to Lewes. The local area offers stunning countryside including the Ashdown Forest, Chailey Common Nature Reserve and the South Downs National Park.

Approached by a gravelled driveway providing off road parking for several vehicles and leads to the garage building which comprises of the garage itself, with a covered area alongside and a former stable to the other side.
