"Oakleigh is a an exceptionally spacious, single storey residence built in about 1971 and subsequently substantially extended and greatly enhanced creating well presented and well arranged family accommodation with delightful outlooks. Some particular features of note are, the large, well proportioned sitting room with its French doors to the south facing terrace, also with two velux sky lights. The kitchen/breakfast room is a very good size with a comprehensive range of storage cupboards and drawers with beech work tops, a peninsula unit and breakfast bar, a Nobel oil fired range with snug burner, a Calor gas hob with extractor, a Siemens combined oven and microwave and a dishwasher. The dining room has French doors to the terrace and a velux skylight, similar to the delightful principal bedroom, which has an en suite dressing room and a bathroom. The guest bedroom has its own bathroom and the library or office a part glazed vaulted ceiling, French doors to the garden and a range of fitted bookshelves. The three further bedrooms are served by a well fitted family bathroom.

Situation
Set well away from the road, Oakleigh is approached by a shared drive of about 400m and stands in a superb, peaceful setting with attractive southerly outlooks. The house is situated between Mark Cross and Town Row with Rotherfield a little way beyond, where there is a general store, post office and primary school. In Crowborough there is a wider range of shops including Waitrose and Morrisons supermarkets. Tunbridge Wells is just under 7 miles away for more comprehensive shopping facilities and amenities. There is a wide range of schooling in the area in both private and state school systems.

Outside
To the front of the house there is ample parking and a detached oak framed garage/car port. The main garden is on the south side with a terrace running the full length of the house leading to the heated swimming pool and pool house. Beyond the terrace there is a long lawn leading down to the paddocks and is interspersed with numerous trees, specimen shrubs and flowerbeds. The outbuildings including stables and stores are served by a separate driveway. About 7.14 acres but also available with less land.
