30 Newgate occupies a sought after central position within walking distance of the town centre.

Barnard Castle is an historic market town supporting a range of shopping, educational and recreational facilities, dominated by the Castle Ruins and River Tees.

There are many renowned beauty spots close at hand, beyond which can be found the attractions of North Yorkshire, the Lake District, Weardale and Northumberland as well as the East Coast.

For the commuter the A66, A67 and A1 (M) provide links with the major commercial centres of the North East. Darlington Mainline Railway Station and Durham Tees Valley International Airport offer further communications with the rest of the country.
